Base Salary

$150k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop production-ready AI-native applications, autonomous agents, agentic workflows, and supporting platform infrastructure.
  • Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools for implementation, prompt iteration, and maintenance.
  • Build front-end and full-stack applications with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vite, AWS services, WebSockets, and REST APIs.
  • Develop AWS Bedrock agent architectures, multi-turn workflows, RAG and Graph-RAG systems, MCP tools, and AI evaluation and safety pipelines.
  • Build governed AWS data lakehouse and engineering-data integration capabilities using S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Iceberg, CDC pipelines, and enterprise engineering-system connectors.
  • Design and maintain containerized applications, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure, observability, release automation, and production support.
  • Collaborate with systems-engineering, licensing, quality-assurance, development, and internal customer teams to document architecture, validate solutions, and meet nuclear-quality and regulatory expectations.
  • Support data governance, identity federation, export-control requirements, data lineage, validation pipelines, technical roadmaps, reviews, prototypes, and on-call incident response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Typically five years of relevant software engineering experience, including experience in at least one listed specialization track.
  • Experience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD, modern development workflows, Jira, Confluence, and AI-enhanced development environments such as Claude Code.
  • Experience working collaboratively in fast-paced development teams and communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track A applicants should have working knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vite, Bun, Tailwind CSS, WebSockets, REST APIs, user-interface development, and AWS web-application deployment.
  • Track B applicants should have knowledge of LLMs, agentic architectures, AWS Bedrock or comparable tools, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, RAG, Graph-RAG, TypeScript, Python, Node.js/Express, FastAPI, and AI evaluation methods or frameworks.
  • Track C applicants should have experience or familiarity with data lakes/lakehouses, ETL, AWS data services, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake or Apache Hudi, canonical data models, schema governance, enterprise engineering-system integrations, identity federation, and engineering data formats.
  • Track D applicants should have experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, AWS ECS, ECR, VPC, Terraform, release automation, monitoring and observability, Linux or macOS command-line environments, and container orchestration.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in nuclear energy, aerospace, defense, or other regulated fields; digital engineering, MBSE, PLM and requirements systems; graph databases; NQA-1; 10 CFR 50 Appendix B; AWS GovCloud; FedRAMP; ITAR, EAR, or 10 CFR 810; and MCP tool development.
