Responsibilities
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and distributed systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
- Monitor applications, perform anomaly detection, conduct root cause analysis, and provide production support.
- Lead system design, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring for junior developers.
- Develop automated testing frameworks and apply AI-driven testing techniques where applicable.
- Optimize database queries and application performance while ensuring high availability and resiliency.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities or third-party AI services into backend applications where applicable.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of hands-on software development experience building and designing robust backend systems.
- Mandatory experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques or methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
