Responsibilities
- Build backend infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.
- Design and develop distributed systems and large-scale service architectures.
- Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance services and client libraries for cloud storage backends.
- Develop data pipelines and pricing infrastructure serving millions of cluster-hours per day.
- Contribute to monitoring, workflow orchestration, developer experience, and customer-facing platform controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, C++, or a similar programming language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
