Base Salary
$146k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect secure, scalable, cost-effective Google Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and reusable Ansible playbooks.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release engineering, and deployment workflows with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code, observability, security, compliance, and operational-readiness standards across teams.
- Lead architecture reviews and cross-functional initiatives involving application, security, architecture, database, and operations teams.
- Implement secure AI- and agent-driven infrastructure solutions, including MCP server and tool integrations, to improve automation and troubleshooting.
- Participate in production readiness reviews, incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity efforts.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical direction, and maintain architecture documentation and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering, including leadership of large-scale cloud initiatives.
- Experience architecting complex, highly available, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred.
- Extensive hands-on Terraform and Ansible experience, including reusable modules, testing, and lifecycle management at scale.
- Strong GitHub Actions and Jenkins experience covering automated testing, release, and deployment workflows.
- Scripting ability in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of networking, IAM, cloud security and hardening, compliance, Docker, and infrastructure testing such as Terratest and policy-as-code.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical decisions without formal authority.
- Experience with production support, incident response, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with MCP servers, agent-driven tooling, AI-assisted SDLC practices, and Terraform or Google Cloud Platform certifications.

- Base pay range is $145,600 to $209,300, with potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses and restricted stock units.
