Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and applications using Java, Spring Boot, MyBatis, JSON, and related technologies.
  • Create automated regression, performance, accessibility, API, and quality assurance tests for software applications.
  • Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects, components, and subsystems.
  • Support application deployment to production and work with deployment, container, registry, monitoring, and version-control tools.
  • Develop test plans, validate software deliverables, and recommend testing tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate complex project schedules, assignments, risk strategies, and full project life-cycle plans.
  • Serve as a liaison with business units, resolve technical issues, advise senior management, and mentor junior team members.
  • Prepare technical documentation, release notes, specifications, and other application or subsystem documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks to test cloud-based applications and software components in a financial services environment using C# and Java.
  • Expertise creating automated regression suites and conducting performance, accessibility, and regression testing using ParaSoft SOATest, Postman, RestSharp, LoadRunner, and JMeter.
  • Experience with service virtualization using ParaSoft Virtualize and WireMock, plus API testing and automation scripting using Java, C#, TestNG, and Postman.
  • Experience supporting production deployment using Bamboo, Docker, Harbor image registry, and Splunk.
  • Experience designing test plans and conducting testing using Git, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Splunk.
  • Experience performing software quality assurance testing with Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Java, and C#.
  • Experience with Confluence for release notes and documentation and Jira for story tracking and requirements translation.
