Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage production releases, monitor builds, diagnose failures, and optimize build pipelines.
  • Update and manage CMS content, including publish and draft states and preview links.
  • Implement copy, design, and new page updates from Figma designs.
  • Maintain and update the web checkout flow.
  • Implement web analytics, marketing attribution, email marketing CRM, map provider, and related integrations.
  • Run A/B tests and implement custom event, conversion, and server-side tracking.
  • Improve performance through image optimization, build efficiency, and page-load improvements.
  • Maintain SEO best practices including meta tags and robots directives.
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and maintain dependencies, Dependabot alerts, and repository cleanliness.
  • Respond to requests from marketing, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and Next.js or similar React frameworks.
  • Experience with Vercel deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and headless CMS platforms such as Sanity.
  • Familiarity with web security fundamentals including query injection, API key hygiene, environment variable security, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience with Mixpanel, Google Ads, Meta, custom event and conversion tracking, and privacy-conscious server-side data collection.
  • Ability to translate Figma specifications, assets, and layouts into pixel-accurate production code.
  • Good design and UX judgment, including the ability to identify implementation inconsistencies and usability issues.
  • Ability to independently review, test, and merge pull requests with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility, image optimization workflows such as WebP conversion and responsive images, and Node.js version management and dependency tooling.
  • Security-minded approach and responsiveness to cross-functional marketing, product, and engineering stakeholders.

  • Hourly compensation is geo-adjusted; New York range is $100–$200 per hour
