Responsibilities
- Design scalable microservices-based application and integration architectures for resilient enterprise business services.
- Define and review Java and Spring Boot backend solutions, Angular frontend architectures, and AWS cloud-native deployments.
- Guide AWS DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and environment standardization.
- Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional Scrum teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Create architecture blueprints, reference implementations, design patterns, technical guidelines, and risk assessments.
- Optimize application performance and reliability through technical assessments, capacity planning, and tuning across application and database layers.
- Support incident and problem resolution through technical analysis and sustainable remediation recommendations.
- Communicate architectural options, tradeoffs, risks, and decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Promote test automation, secure coding, and observability for microservices-based systems.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in application architecture focused on distributed systems and enterprise-scale platforms.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Java, core Java, and Spring Boot, including production Spring Boot microservices.
- Practical experience building and operating microservices architectures, including service discovery, fault tolerance, configuration management, and API design.
- Substantial experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, and security capabilities for cloud-native workloads.
- Knowledge of AWS DevOps tooling and practices, including pipeline automation, configuration management, and environment standardization.
- Strong proficiency in Angular for modular, responsive frontend development integrated with backend microservices.
- Agile delivery experience as a Scrum Master or in an equivalent role.
- Strong communication, documentation, architectural decision-making, and technical guideline development capabilities.
