Responsibilities

  • Develop 4D millimeter-wave radar point-cloud perception algorithms for object detection, tracking, and motion estimation using Doppler velocity information.
  • Perform radar calibration, including installation pose, extrinsic calibration, and alignment with vehicle coordinates.
  • Develop radar-lidar and radar-camera fusion solutions for improved perception in dust, rain, fog, and other challenging conditions.
  • Develop signal and point-cloud processing algorithms for noise, multipath, clutter suppression, and static/dynamic object separation.
  • Support radar selection, data collection, real-vehicle integration and testing, issue analysis, and supplier-led performance optimization.
  • Deploy radar perception modules on vehicle platforms and optimize their real-time performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electronics, communications, automation, vehicle engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in millimeter-wave radar perception or multi-sensor fusion algorithm development.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python and familiarity with Linux and ROS/ROS2.
  • Knowledge of FMCW radar principles, range, velocity, angle measurement, and 4D radar point-cloud characteristics.
  • Experience with radar point-cloud clustering, multi-object tracking using KF/EKF/IMM and data association, and Doppler-based ego-velocity estimation.
  • Understanding of deep-learning-based 4D radar point-cloud detection methods such as RPFA-Net and RadarPillars.
  • Ability to design radar perception evaluation methods and analyze false detections and missed detections caused by multipath, clutter, and occlusion.
  • Familiarity with radar-lidar and radar-camera extrinsic calibration, time synchronization, and data-, feature-, and object-level fusion.
  • Practical experience with vehicle integration, testing, and issue localization.
  • Experience with autonomous driving in mining, port, campus, or other closed environments; adverse-weather robustness; raw radar ADC/Radar Cube processing; or 4D radar-camera BEV fusion such as RCFusion is preferred.
