Responsibilities
- Build robust, scalable, and user-friendly fullstack products that make data insights simple.
- Own the full scope of product and user experience beyond technical implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering teammates and product management to deliver customer value.
- Establish frontend architecture and contribute to server-side and distributed-systems development.
- Contribute to one of Databricks Vancouver’s strategic areas, including Log Analytics, AI/BI, Unity Catalog Business Semantics, or Databricks Apps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- 5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and a passion for user experience and design.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work toward a multi-year vision through incremental deliverables and remain focused on customer value.
