Responsibilities
- Develop, test, build, deploy, and operate high-performance insurance-related software using C/C++ and occasionally Java.
- Analyze business requirements and implement robust technical solutions and processes.
- Automate and optimize development tooling, build, deployment, and test procedures.
- Maintain Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Review and coordinate quality assurance results, including Valgrind analyses, and drive corrective actions.
- Review and optimize engineering workflows to improve performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering peers using Git, GitHub, Jira, and Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or a comparable qualification.
- Proficiency in C or C++, or another programming language with willingness to upskill into C/C++.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to analyze complex topics quickly, communicate precisely, and deliver solution-oriented outcomes.
- Independence, teamwork, ownership, customer orientation, flexibility, and commitment to learning insurance domain specifics.
- Very good German language skills at least at B2 level in writing and speaking.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and practical applications.
