Base Salary
$115k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business goals and technical requirements.
- Design end-to-end solutions leveraging Starburst products.
- Develop architectural diagrams and implementation plans for customer projects.
- Lead the implementation and deployment of Starburst solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers.
- Train and upskill external personnel on Starburst products.
- Create resources and best practices to enhance partner delivery capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical role such as solution architect or data engineer.
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with distributed query engines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Linux OS and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with open-source technologies and contributions is a plus.
- Understanding of AI governance and data security is a plus.
