Responsibilities
- Build agentic systems and full-stack prototypes end-to-end, shipping initial versions quickly and learning from real use.
- Track emerging models, agent patterns, and protocols such as MCP and turn promising capabilities into working prototypes.
- Design experiments measuring quality, latency, cost, and user impact.
- Work with internal users, product managers, and customers to validate concepts and iterate.
- Convert validated prototypes into reference implementations and write-ups for product teams.
- Provide product and platform teams with feedback on AI capabilities and limitations.
- Move between initiatives as priorities shift and hand off validated work cleanly to product teams.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience building full-stack software, including products or systems started from scratch.
- Experience shipping LLM-powered systems to production for real users.
- Ability to understand and build AI agents below the framework level, including message arrays, tool calling, context management, and prompt caching.
- Ability to build an agent loop from scratch and explain its operation.
- Practical full-stack experience taking prototypes from API to demo UI, with TypeScript/Node.js and React.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
- Strong product mindset, builder mentality, and comfort working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
- Preferred: strong UX/UI judgment and experience with voice and real-time AI, including streaming, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or voice-to-voice models.
- Preferred: open-source work on agent tooling such as MCP servers, harnesses, or evals.
- Preferred: experience designing evaluations for AI systems.
- Preferred: background in conversational AI or customer-experience products.
