Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable enterprise applications on Azure using Angular and .NET Core.
- Develop reusable Angular components, .NET Core services, APIs, middleware, and data access layers.
- Translate investment banking and brokerage requirements into technical designs with product, business, architecture, and operations stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct peer reviews, and oversee static analysis, unit testing, and secure coding practices.
- Optimize application performance through profiling, refactoring, and improved data access patterns.
- Guide Azure application hosting, identity management, data storage, monitoring, and deployment practices.
- Coordinate integration and system testing with quality engineering teams.
- Maintain architecture, coding standards, deployment, and support documentation.
- Lead production incident resolution and root cause analysis using logs, metrics, and application traces.
- Communicate technical tradeoffs, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of hands-on software development experience with increasing responsibility in design and code quality oversight.
- Strong proficiency with Angular, including component-based architecture, reactive forms, and client-side performance optimization.
- Deep experience with .NET Core, including API services, middleware, data access layers, and secure coding practices.
- Hands-on Azure experience covering application hosting, identity and access, data storage, monitoring, and resilient application design.
- Practical understanding of investment banking operations and brokerage processes, including trade lifecycles, settlement requirements, and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, technology, architecture, quality engineering, and operations teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical tradeoffs and risks clearly.
- Availability for a consistent day-shift schedule in a hybrid work arrangement.
