Responsibilities
- Define and carry the front-end vision in collaboration with Human Factors experts and Product Owners.
- Select front-end architectures and patterns, including monolithic architectures, micro-frontends, Progressive WebApps, and UI shells.
- Support standards selection and development of the design system.
- Build and maintain reusable UI component libraries and theming systems.
- Align UX/UI choices, technical decisions, and product requirements.
- Organize development, testing, and deployment strategies while ensuring quality and participating in development activities.
- Review and challenge deliverables for performance, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Support and mentor front-end teams.
- Coordinate with Product Owners, architects, UX/UI teams, and systems and platforms teams.
- Contribute to product roadmaps and technical reviews within the Digital Foundry.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent, with solid experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining industrial-quality front-end applications.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in architecture, mentoring, and code reviews within Agile or product-oriented environments.
- Ability to establish a coherent technical vision across the applications in the assigned scope.
- Strong UX/UI sensitivity and ability to collaborate closely with designers and Product Owners.
- Pragmatic, rigorous, impact-oriented approach focused on end users and long-term maintainability.
- Fluent English and comfort working in an international context.
- Experience or proficiency with UX/UI prototyping, Figma, Vue.js, React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, WebSockets, Maps, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, front-end security practices, performance optimization, and accessibility by design.
