Responsibilities

Develop deployable software solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.
Support systems engineers on AI/ML research projects for civilian and military programmes.
Build scalable pipelines involving APIs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, and orchestration frameworks.
Curate datasets, manage embeddings, and support secure, private, and responsible AI practices.
Design, test, and systematically improve prompts while measuring LLM accuracy, bias, and robustness.
Contribute to software delivery across the full software life cycle in regulated environments.

Practical experience delivering high-integrity software products within a regulated environment.
Experience and passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow and tools for model integration.
Strong foundation in transformer architectures, tokenisation, embeddings, and fine-tuning large language models.
Experience with scalable pipelines, APIs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, and orchestration frameworks.
Awareness of AI agents, governance, security, compliance, high-performance computing, parallel processing, and mathematical libraries for signal, image, and data processing.
Ability to work on Agile projects across the full software life cycle.
