Base Salary

$160k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture discussions during feature development.
  • Improve user experiences for software engineers and teams.
  • Perform full stack coding, focusing 60% on back end and 40% on front end.
  • Mentor other engineers on software engineering best practices.
  • Optimize performance for latency and throughput.
  • Guide incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to scope and execute product features.
  • Advocate for flexible, scalable, and approachable codebase patterns.
  • Promote a welcoming and supportive team culture.
  • Champion security and privacy best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience leading large infrastructural and architectural projects.
  • Comfort with a startup mindset and taking initiative.
  • Knowledge of effective project management.
  • Excitement to leverage modern tools and AI for efficiency.
  • Ability to architect and maintain configurable systems.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate systems across engineering teams.
  • Passion for end-to-end product delivery.
  • Prior experience with web application product development is preferred.
  • Experience with configurable enterprise or government-facing software is a plus.
