Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end ADAS system architectures for sensor integration, perception, sensor fusion, autonomous decision-making, and vehicle control.
- Design modular and scalable software architectures for ECUs, middleware, and vehicle communication interfaces.
- Architect vision- and LiDAR-based applications and align solutions with customer requirements.
- Optimize computational efficiency, memory utilization, and system performance for real-time embedded platforms.
- Manage intrinsic and extrinsic calibration activities for camera and radar systems.
- Collaborate with functional safety teams to support ISO 26262 and ASIL compliance.
- Define technical specifications and system requirements with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, hardware teams, and software teams.
- Drive architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and design decisions for ADAS product development.
- Support presales solutioning, system integration, validation, and deployment activities across automotive programs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and customer engagement.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in automotive software or system architecture focused on ADAS solutions.
- Strong expertise in ADAS architecture design, development, and integration.
- Hands-on experience with radar, LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and IMUs.
- Expertise in object detection, lane detection and recognition, and environmental mapping.
- Strong understanding of sensor fusion, decision-making, and vehicle control algorithms.
- Experience designing scalable software architectures for embedded automotive platforms.
- Expertise in vision and LiDAR algorithm architecture and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and real-time processing optimization.
- Experience with ECU architecture, middleware, and automotive communication frameworks.
- Exposure to Automotive SPICE processes and strong understanding of ISO 26262 and ASIL requirements.
- Preferred experience in autonomous driving systems development, AI/ML-based perception frameworks, and automotive simulation and validation environments.
- Preferred exposure to AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive platforms and familiarity with model-based development tools and methodologies.
- Strong leadership, technical mentoring, communication, presentation, collaboration, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
