Responsibilities
- Help ensure the availability, reliability, and efficiency of the platform’s complex system architecture.
- Maintain, automate, and optimize infrastructure running on approximately 70 Hetzner servers.
- Work with Ubuntu, Percona MySQL Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, TiDB, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes.
- Improve monitoring strategies and perform comprehensive failure and root-cause analyses.
- Respond to exceptional nighttime incidents to help maintain high availability.
- Contribute software development and automation improvements using one or more programming languages.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with one or more programming languages, such as Rust, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of system automation and IT security.
- Practical experience with some of MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch.
- Fluent German and good English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience contributing to open-source technologies is desirable.
