Responsibilities
- Maintain and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Design, build, and operate containerized platforms using Docker and Amazon EKS.
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD platforms and tooling, including GitHub Enterprise Runners, CloudBees Jenkins, and Harness.
- Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise Cloud and operate enterprise GitHub runners for organization-wide development teams.
- Provide technical guidance, enablement, and consultation to teams using the central CI/CD platform.
- Promote GitHub and GitHub Copilot best practices for AI-assisted software development.
- Support monitoring, alerting, logging, troubleshooting, and operational reliability for distributed cloud-native systems.
- Contribute to project plans, schedules, documentation, code reviews, retrospectives, technical demos, and stakeholder presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
- Hands-on GitHub Enterprise Cloud administration or strong Linux system administration experience supporting production platforms.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Terraform, plus hands-on AWS infrastructure management and automation.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with Helm, CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines, and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, troubleshooting, operational support, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud, infrastructure-as-code, or containerized-application certifications are preferred.
