Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate production systems under guidance.
- Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents using established procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations with mentorship and escalation support.
- Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerting rules, and basic observability setups.
- Perform service checks, deployments, and configuration updates.
- Document runbooks, operational procedures, and known issues.
Requirements
- Academic or professional background in IT operations, systems engineering, DevOps, or software engineering.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and system administration fundamentals, including logs, processes, and networking.
- Initial exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, deployment concepts, and Grafana, ELK, or Prometheus.
- Ability to read basic Python, Java, or scripting code for troubleshooting.
- Comfort working in Agile/Kanban teams and structured environments with SLAs.
