Base Salary
$307k - $427k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Google DeepMind and Google product and research teams to develop 0-to-1 Agera-powered features and products.
- Develop across the AI systems stack, including agent harnesses, subagent swarms, structured state, tool execution, retrieval indices, reranking, evaluations, Studio UIs, and model fine-tuning or expertise distillation.
- Balance exploratory prototyping with clean, scalable software engineering.
- Lead complex engagements end-to-end, set technical direction, bridge team roadmaps, and drive convergence through working prototypes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in engineering or a related function.
- Preferred experience with agent architectures, multi-agent systems, post-training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, or large-scale LLM evaluation.
- Preferred software engineering, systems infrastructure, or AI/ML modeling experience using Python and C++.
- Preferred technical leadership and experience driving multi-team, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
- Preferred experience with information retrieval, search and ranking systems, clustering, or large-scale data processing infrastructure.
