Responsibilities
- Create and independently present technical design reviews.
- Own solution design, development, testing, planning, execution, and release for feature requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize backend systems for large-scale ad delivery, targeting, and reporting.
- Develop high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related backend technologies.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, database schemas, indexes, stored procedures, and application performance.
- Create CI/CD pipelines and automate integration and deployment workflows.
- Develop REST web services and write unit tests using established testing practices.
- Apply generative AI tools, advanced prompt engineering, RAG, agentic AI, and model fine-tuning concepts to software development.
- Collaborate with teams, document designs, and deliver work independently and on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent degree.
- 3–5 years of experience with Java and Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience with Java 11 or higher, Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/MyBatis.
- Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, complex queries, performance optimization, schema design, indexing, and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of data structures and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Practical scripting experience, preferably with Python.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Docker.
- Experience developing REST web services and writing JUnit tests.
- Understanding of generative AI tools, AI models, advanced prompt engineering, RAG, agentic AI, and model fine-tuning.
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Test Driven Development, refactoring, code reviews, continuous integration/delivery, and Agile development practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
- Experience with high-performance and scalable systems is preferred.
