Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, modify, construct, train, evaluate, and tune computer vision and machine learning algorithms and models.
- Research and prototype techniques for object detection, object recognition, image classification, and related computer vision applications.
- Build scalable machine learning systems and data-driven products using large datasets and cross-functional collaboration.
- Shape applied ML/AI solutions through customer engagement, solution-team collaboration, discovery workshops, and prototyping initiatives.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of ML/AI team members.
- Engage with the broader ML/AI community through research, speaking, teaching, formal collaborations, or other channels.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of work or educational experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience with one or more of Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow, and image/video vision libraries or services such as OpenCV, Clarifai, or Google Cloud Vision.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, statistical modeling, data extraction and analysis, convolutional neural networks, and embedded vision processing systems.
- Experience developing feature learning, text mining, and prediction models such as deep learning, collaborative filtering, support vector machines, or random forests.
- Experience with big data computation platforms or tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Tableau, HBase, or Kafka.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft, IBM, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with natural language processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems, or similar areas.
- Contribution to research communities or publication at conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, or CVPR is preferred.
- Experience with generative AI and prompt engineering is listed as a mandatory skill in an additional posting section.
