Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and architecture for the ML platform from data ingestion through model serving.
- Build reproducible and auditable data, model, prompt-versioning, evaluation, and cost-tracking systems.
- Lead engineering practices for agentic development workflows and evaluation methodologies.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across disciplines and teams.
- Build predictors for user acquisition cost, lifetime value, return on ad spend, retention, and related commercial outcomes.
- Develop market-demand forecasting models and calibrated prediction ranges with confidence estimates.
- Own ranking, portfolio, experimentation, feedback-loop, bias-correction, and measurement systems.
- Build and operate LLM-agent evaluation harnesses, automated playtesting, multimodal content assessment, and production agent orchestration.
Requirements
- Track record of owning production machine learning systems end to end from data through serving and measured business outcomes.
- Deep experience in performance marketing or ad-tech modeling, including acquisition cost, lifetime value, return on ad spend, or retention prediction.
- Strong knowledge of probabilistic prediction, calibration, quantile or interval prediction, coverage, bias correction, and forecast backtesting.
- Experience building production LLM-based agent systems, including orchestration, evaluation harnesses, prompt and model versioning, and cost control.
- Strong Python and modern machine learning tooling experience, with fundamentals across relational stores, columnar analytics stores, and event streams.
- Ability to drive technical direction across teams, mentor senior engineers, and influence without formal authority.
- Experience in a zero-to-one environment.
- Preferred experience includes mobile game user acquisition, LiveOps, monetization, Unity or another game engine, automated playtesting, time-series forecasting, demand forecasting, Claude Agent SDK, Codex, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Kafka, Postgres, pgvector, forecasting, causal inference, calibration, or agentic-systems publications or open-source contributions.
