Responsibilities
- Develop embedded systems software for real-time, bare-metal, and Linux-based environments.
- Build infrastructure and application functionality for embedded platforms and serial communications.
- Use Python, Bash, Cucumber, Gherkin, and embedded development tools in firmware workflows.
- Work with ARM platforms and source code version control using Git.
- Apply embedded systems experience to control applications, with HVAC experience highly sought.
Requirements
- Must have experience with embedded systems programming, Python, Gherkin, Cucumber, Bash shell scripting, Linux operating systems and filesystems, RTOS, and bare-metal development.
- Must have experience with RS232/485 serial communications and ARM platforms.
- Preferred experience includes TCP, UDP, TLS, DNS, CANbus, BACnet, ModBus, SNMP, and SoC platforms.
- Preferred familiarity includes Wireshark, VS Code, Visual Studio, Docker, VirtualBox, VMware, and Yocto/BitBake.
- Embedded systems experience with control applications and HVAC experience are highly sought but not required.
