Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with customers and clarify business context, workflows, technology landscapes, data, security requirements, and integration dependencies.
- Design practical AI solutions using large language models, APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, agentic workflows, and enterprise system connections.
- Recommend architecture patterns, configuration options, implementation approaches, and API integration designs.
- Create demonstrations and prototypes that validate customer use cases and establish a path to implementation.
- Advise on security posture, data handling, encryption, authentication, access control, compliance, and risk assessments.
- Partner with sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams on proposals, technical issue escalation, roadmap input, and early implementation handoff.
- Document architectures, configuration steps, onboarding plans, FAQs, knowledge-base content, and repeatable solution playbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical account management.
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, or evaluating generative AI solutions through enterprise work, pre-sales prototypes, or personal projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of leading AI platforms and assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot is preferred.
- Working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt design, structured outputs, tool or function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and retrieval techniques is preferred.
- Experience connecting AI solutions securely with enterprise applications, data sources, and business processes is preferred.
- Understanding of LLM application strengths and limitations, grounding, evaluation, and human oversight is preferred.
- Experience designing or prototyping agentic workflows using tools, connectors, or agent frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol, AI evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, observability, RESTful API design, authentication patterns, integration workflows, and error handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting, JSON payloads, and light troubleshooting is preferred.
- Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and enterprise security standards is preferred.
- Ability to explain AI concepts and architectural choices to technical and non-technical stakeholders, with experience supporting SMBs or high-velocity sales teams, is preferred.
