Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, microservices, integrations, and cloud-native applications.
- Drive technical solution design, architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with Product Owners, stakeholders, architects, data engineers, DevOps teams, and software engineers.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, and establish engineering standards and best practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, security, compliance, performance, scalability, and reliability practices.
- Design and implement AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, RAG architectures, enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions, and LLM-enabled services.
- Develop AI integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, data sources, AI platforms, and reusable agent workflows and accelerators.
- Guide prompt engineering, AI evaluation, AI observability, responsible AI, data governance, and AI engineering practices.
- Evaluate emerging software and AI technologies and recommend practical adoption strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale applications using Python and/or Java.
- Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, microservices, cloud-native architectures, enterprise integrations, and modern web applications using React or similar front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and enterprise data platforms.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred experience designing and deploying production generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, AI orchestration patterns, vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, knowledge retrieval, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, OpenAI APIs, MCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern AI or data engineering platforms.
