Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and execute adversarial privacy assessments across Meta products and infrastructure.
- Develop privacy red team methodologies, testing frameworks, tooling, and scalable workflows.
- Identify systemic privacy vulnerabilities including re-identification risks, data minimization failures, unauthorized access, consent bypasses, and cross-context data leakage.
- Drive remediation with engineering, product, legal, policy, security, and compliance teams.
- Communicate technical privacy findings through risk assessments to engineering teams and non-technical leadership.
- Define the privacy red team strategy and roadmap, identify emerging threats, and influence organizational priorities.
- Mentor engineers on adversarial privacy testing techniques.
- Lead coordinated responses to large-scale privacy risk escalations and track mitigation across teams.
- Develop technical solutions to close gaps in privacy controls, detection capabilities, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, or a related field focused on adversarial testing, vulnerability research, or privacy risk assessment.
- Experience designing and executing privacy or security red team assessments, including threat modeling, attack simulation, and control validation across large-scale consumer products.
- Experience identifying and exploiting privacy vulnerabilities such as re-identification risks, data minimization failures, unauthorized data access patterns, and consent or purpose limitation bypasses.
- Experience communicating technical privacy risk findings to engineering teams and non-technical leadership stakeholders.
- Experience driving cross-functional remediation and influencing engineering and product decisions through privacy risk analysis.
- Preferred experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
- Preferred experience developing automated tooling or testing pipelines for privacy red team assessments across distributed codebases.
- Track record of defining and operationalizing privacy red team programs from early development through organizational adoption.
- Experience integrating AI tools and developing skills in prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience with data flow analysis, traffic inspection, or reverse engineering for privacy control validation.
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 29134, and global privacy regulations or frameworks.
