Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, set technical standards, and mentor the development team.
- Implement complex software components and system interfaces for RLMIS/MOSS.
- Create interface specifications and support system integration across existing systems and MALE RPAS design requirements.
- Contribute to software architecture and design using UML and define precise technical requirements.
- Support technical reviews, development products, testing, qualification, approval, and cross-project lifecycle activities.
- Create and maintain technical software-development and qualification documentation.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science or a comparable computer-science-focused program, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–10 years of practical software-development experience with C# and .NET, ideally .NET 6/8.
- Extensive full-stack development experience with ASP.NET Core and modern client-side technologies, preferably Blazor or alternatively Angular or React.
- Strong experience with object-oriented analysis and design and practical application of DDD, Clean Architecture, and CQRS.
- Experience with REST and gRPC API design, SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases, and Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Proficiency with Git, Rider, VS Code, Visual Studio, and cross-platform development for Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing and strong quality awareness.
- Awareness of security best practices including OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English, with strong technical mentoring, teamwork, and initiative.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft products is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Eurofighter or A400M ground-support systems, aircraft operation and maintenance processes, or regulated environments is a plus.
