Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of ServiceNow HAM and SAM Pro solutions.
- Configure asset lifecycle management, software licensing, compliance, reconciliation, entitlement management, software normalization, and publisher packs.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Workflows, and Flow Designer solutions.
- Build integrations with SCCM, Flexera, Jamf, Intune, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Server.
- Maintain data accuracy across CMDB, Assets, and Discovery.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and support audit compliance and cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and review code quality.
- Deliver scalable HAM/SAM applications, accurate license compliance reporting, cost optimization, and audit readiness.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years of ServiceNow development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management Professional.
- Expertise with CMDB, ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party integration tools.
- Understanding of software licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, and Adobe, as well as IT asset lifecycle and compliance frameworks.
- CSA certification is mandatory.
- CIS-SAM and CIS-HAM certifications are preferred.
- Experience with end-to-end SAM/HAM implementation projects is preferred.
- Exposure to ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, ownership, documentation, and accountability skills are preferred.
