Responsibilities
- Analyze problems and collaborate with teams to deliver pragmatic solutions end to end.
- Create, design, develop, and operate the shared infrastructure platform supporting Swile’s growth, products, and international expansion.
- Improve developer experience by treating the platform as a product, simplifying workflows, improving time to market, and automating suitable processes.
- Train, coach, and support software engineers in DevOps and SRE practices.
- Maintain platform security and compliance while controlling costs.
- Understand business needs and provide relevant solutions for users and clients.
- Evaluate new technologies and architectures for potential application at Swile.
- Provide constructive code-review feedback and mentor engineers to promote technical growth.
Requirements
- Significant experience in site reliability engineering.
- Strong problem-analysis skills and the ability to design pragmatic, simple architectures at scale.
- Commitment to code simplicity, quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to understand user and client needs alongside technical requirements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset or experience working in established organizations, with adaptability and willingness to learn.
