Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality trading GUIs for internal and external traders.
- Define and enforce interoperability standards across web applications using FDC3, REST, and WebSocket APIs.
- Drive AI integration into development through AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, and intelligent monitoring.
- Profile and optimize front-end performance, including rendering, bundle analysis, memory management, and low-latency data delivery.
- Influence architecture for large-scale front-end systems, including monorepo governance and design system adoption.
- Champion TDD, code review, and AI-assisted development tooling.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with UI leads, UX, Product, and Sales.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and delivery standards.
Requirements
- Solid experience building and deploying complex web application platforms in production.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Experience profiling and optimizing high-throughput React applications, including Web Workers, virtual rendering, and memory management.
- Experience with Chromium, Electron, or OpenFin desktop containers and familiarity with FDC3.
- Experience with Kafka, Solace, or Tibco real-time messaging systems.
- Experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Experience building real-time trading platforms and FX or Fixed Income product knowledge are desirable.
- Java REST API development experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is desirable.
