Responsibilities
- Apply classroom knowledge to engineering projects in a medical technology industry setting.
- Support product development, product improvement, quality, validation, verification, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, technicians, engineers, sales teams, customers, and regulatory partners.
- Use tools such as CAD, FEA, LabView, Test Labs, and root cause analysis methods to design, test, and improve products and processes.
- Document complex processes and present information clearly.
- Help develop fixtures, improve manufacturing and inspection processes, and support product safety, reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, including Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related major, and remaining enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, verified at the time of hire.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate and build relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
