Base Salary
$44k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain low-level software in C and embedded Linux for networking infrastructure.
- Apply operating systems, routing, and networking fundamentals to real infrastructure.
- Automate workflows using Python, Bash, or Jenkins.
- Contribute to DevSecOps workflows and security-focused development practices.
- Support the foundational stability, reliability, and security of Cisco connectivity infrastructure.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Expected to continue enrollment in the degree program after completing the internship.
- Proficient in C with embedded Linux experience demonstrated through an academic, personal, or professional project.
- Working knowledge of at least two of operating systems, routing, or networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or Jenkins.
- Exposure to DevSecOps workflows or security-focused development practices.
- Preferred: exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals or security protocols.
- Preferred: familiarity with FPGA development.
- Preferred: understanding of at least two of signal integrity, power integrity, or PCB design.
