Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing, testing, and debugging embedded software and firmware for hardware-based systems.
  • Support software and hardware integration to ensure system functionality and performance.
  • Contribute to automation tools, test frameworks, and software utilities.
  • Participate in system validation, data collection, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
  • Document software designs, test results, and technical findings.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems, software development, and computer engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with C, C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Understanding of software debugging, testing, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of Git or similar version-control platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with embedded operating systems, RTOS, embedded Linux, software build systems, scripting, automation tools, and engineering projects, coursework, or research involving embedded software, firmware, hardware-software integration, or system validation.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing, communication protocols, or embedded hardware concepts is a plus.
