Responsibilities
- Design and implement dashboards for operational insights.
- Develop automated runbooks for operational tasks and support escalation resolution.
- Serve as an operations contact for developers and customers.
- Document and review incidents, resolutions, and team knowledge.
- Test implemented designs and monitor metrics to improve processes, performance, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
- Manage CI/CD tools and design or update operational processes.
- Improve infrastructure and application development.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle and support software building, testing, and deployment.
- Communicate with peers to prioritize assigned work and research new software engineering, computer engineering, and software testing developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer application, or equivalent.
- Experience in a software product development environment.
- Customer-facing operations experience on cloud and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Go, and Bash, including algorithms, data structures, and automation optimization.
- Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform for software infrastructure management.
- Experience deploying CloudOps/SRE practices.
- Experience with Git and GitHub, including developing and maintaining workflows.
- Preferred: six years of experience in a software product development environment.
- Preferred: knowledge of software and deployment test methodologies and automated test tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: experience with Windows and Linux software development and communicating with users, technical teams, and management.
