Responsibilities
- Write performant, maintainable code that is easy to read and well-documented.
- Write automated tests to thoroughly validate the correctness of your code.
- Deploy large-scale web applications.
- Focus on quality and operate iteratively to improve products.
- Participate in your team’s on-call rotation, owning code from development to operations.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, product management, and design.
- Work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in a core Object-Oriented Programming language like Java, C++, or C#.
- Familiarity with backend services and technologies is a plus.
- Experience with deployment systems such as GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.
- Familiarity with AWS Services like RDS, Lambda, and EC2.
- Understanding of OO design, algorithms, and data structures.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
- Experience developing high-traffic websites.
- Experience enhancing SEO performance.
- Familiarity with AI-native tools that enhance productivity.
- Computer Science or related degree preferred.
- Fluent in English.
