Responsibilities

Engineer stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software solutions.
Lead technical development at the product, team, or domain level and take ownership of technical delivery and application health.
Design Pega applications from scratch, including class structure and organizational design.
Build and support REST APIs and cloud-based Pega applications.
Participate in code reviews, planning, team ceremonies, testing, debugging, automation, and continuous improvement.
Own technical custodianship, governance activities, application assets, and incident root-cause analysis.
Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies and domains.
Identify opportunities for reuse and automation and contribute to technical communities and innovation.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and align on progress.
Provide hardware, software, and network support as needed.
Apply established AI concepts, tools, and procedures to familiar scenarios.

Certified Lead System Architect or CSSA with at least five years of Pega experience.
8–12 years of overall professional experience.
Experience with Pega 8.x in a Pega Business or Pega Technical environment.
Experience building REST APIs.
Strong understanding of Pega architecture and supporting infrastructure.
Experience supporting Pega applications on cloud-based architecture.
Knowledge of Pega application frameworks including CLM, Customer Service, and Smart Disputes.
Experience designing Pega applications from scratch, including class structure and organizational design.
Knowledge of Pega guardrails, Pega Cloud, security, and monitoring.
Strong system design understanding and ability to work independently on clean, efficient, well-documented code.
Ability to mentor junior engineers, support governance, perform root-cause analysis, and apply testing and automation practices.
