Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and optimize software for next-generation SoCs during pre-silicon and post-silicon development.
- Analyze system-wide workloads and identify hardware/software policies to improve performance and performance per watt.
- Build and communicate architecture and performance-analysis documents for internal and external audiences.
- Perform competitive analysis of microarchitecture and workload performance on NVIDIA ARM SoCs versus other silicon vendors.
- Drive adoption of performance optimizations and standard methodologies across NVIDIA software products and open-source SDKs.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant computer architecture or software development experience.
- Proven leadership skills, strong ownership, and hands-on experience with complex software and hardware designs.
- Strong understanding of multicore hardware, operating-system design, concurrency, virtual memory, caching, interrupts, device drivers, and real-time programming.
- Strong performance analysis, data analysis, and performance optimization skills.
- Preferred qualifications include deep ARM architecture and software ecosystem expertise, complex system software performance tuning, CPU server workload analysis, CUDA or GPU experience, and HPC or large-scale computing experience.
