Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize the multi-tenant graph data model.
- Define and implement tenancy models for graph storage.
- Develop data architecture for graph sharding and indexing.
- Build backend services that interact with datastores.
- Optimize query performance through various techniques.
- Own decision-making around multi-tenant graph architecture.
- Implement tooling for tenant onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Establish standards for modeling and data governance.
- Build visibility into performance and health metrics.
- Mentor engineers in database fundamentals and scalable data patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production SaaS environments.
- Hands-on experience with multi-tenancy databases in production.
- Strong understanding of graph modeling and schema design.
- Proficiency in a modern backend language such as Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Solid grounding in distributed systems concepts and performance optimization.
- Experience making architectural decisions in high-scale environments.
