Base Salary

$193k - $289k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, integrate, test, and debug software solutions for end-user customers.
  • Support the architecture, development, and lifecycle management of embedded and real-time systems.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Hardware, and Integration & Test teams.
  • Analyze system capabilities and troubleshoot issues involving program intent, output requirements, data acquisition, programming methods, and control strategies.
  • Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with rapid development cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 14+ years of software development experience, or a master’s degree and 12+ years, or a Ph.D. and 10+ years.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required at the time of application.
  • Strong proficiency in C and C++ development.
  • Extensive experience with the VxWorks real-time operating system.
  • Hands-on experience with GPUs and/or CUDA, including developing, optimizing, or troubleshooting GPU-accelerated applications.
  • Preferred experience includes Directed Energy programs, image processing, Linux or Red Hawk Linux, low-level development, Curtis-Wright VPX processors, Acromag AcroPack interface VPX cards, MATLAB, and adaptive optics processing.
