Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable service-layer business logic components using C# and .NET.
- Extract legacy stored procedures and triggers from SQL Server and migrate them into C# services.
- Design, secure, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and web services.
- Transition the monolithic architecture into a decoupled, service-oriented ecosystem.
- Implement efficient data access and object-relational mapping using Entity Framework Core or equivalent tools.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to support safe migration and zero downtime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of deep backend development experience using .NET Core or modern .NET.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including complex queries and indexing strategies.
- Proven experience building service-oriented architectures and enterprise-grade web APIs.
- Expert knowledge of Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Understanding of API security protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or JWT.
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree/experience.
- Experience with MSMQ or Azure Service Bus is preferred.
- Prior successful monolith-to-SOA migration experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker is preferred.
