Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of autonomous control systems for heavy-duty off-highway vehicles using ROS2 and C/C++.
- Design, test, and optimize sensor fusion, path planning, and vehicle navigation algorithms using LiDAR, cameras, and GNSS/GPS.
- Travel to customer sites to deploy, tune, and validate autonomous systems on agricultural, construction, and mining machinery.
- Develop embedded control solutions using Danfoss’ PLUS+1 platform and bridge software with vehicle hardware.
- Lead rigorous testing and ensure system reliability, safety, and adherence to functional safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
- 8+ years of experience developing complex robotics applications using ROS2.
- Strong software engineering skills in C/C++ within a Linux environment.
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics, control systems, and CAN bus communication networks.
- Hands-on experience with LiDAR, cameras, GNSS/GPS, and sensor fusion techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO 13849 and ISO 25119 and experience with safety-critical systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, plus willingness to travel to customer sites for deployment and support.
