Salesforce Developer
Thermo Fisher ScientificResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and related Salesforce modules.
- Build user experiences with Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Visualforce, custom interfaces, and Salesforce configuration.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, controllers, test methods, Batch Apex, Schedule Apex, and Salesforce API integrations.
- Implement Salesforce automation using Flows, Process Builder, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and related configuration.
- Design and support REST and SOAP integrations, MuleSoft middleware, web services, and external data exchange.
- Perform data migration, imports and exports, deployment, release management, version control, and environment management.
- Lead production support, troubleshooting, release activities, and post-deployment support for global user communities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert, document best practices, improve business processes, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce development tools.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Managed Packages, Communities, and Salesforce security models.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, integration patterns, web services, XML, HTML, CSS, JSP, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce data migration, Data Loader, Force.com, Salesforce configuration, and deployment practices.
- Experience with Change Sets, GitHub, Bitbucket, FlexDeploy, VS Code, ANT, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to manage modules or projects independently, collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior developers.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications are listed, with Salesforce Platform Developer certification preferred.
- Salesforce Certified AI Associate, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, Enterprise ChatGPT, AWS exposure, CPQ, Sites, Communities, and Mobile Publisher experience are preferred or advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery models and Salesforce security, sharing, compliance, and design patterns.
