Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate Linux-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline security operations and eliminate manual tasks.
- Implement CI/CD workflows and firewall policy installation processes.
- Manage and protect backbone network infrastructure, internet exit points, firewalls, IPS, proxies, and related security solutions.
- Define and maintain security requirements and policies, promote security awareness, support periodic security audits, and collaborate across departments.
- Propose and implement comprehensive technical solutions that align with business goals and integrate with existing systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a network security environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, network engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive hands-on experience deploying, hardening, and managing enterprise Linux environments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, Python, shell scripting, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, networking protocols, security technologies, and hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Certifications or proven experience in Linux administration, firewall technologies, and enterprise networking.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD, Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes, or AWS and Google cloud security certifications are preferred.
