Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions for efficient network traffic management.
- Optimize network operations through caching strategies and Points of Presence optimization.
- Develop high-performance applications using C/C++ and Go.
- Deploy and oversee scalable systems on Kubernetes.
- Implement cybersecurity measures and monitor system health through observability practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Lead open-source contributions and technology innovation, including patent-oriented projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least eight years of experience in networking, traffic management, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Go, low-level Linux networking, Kubernetes, and caching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Envoy for traffic management is preferred.
- Experience with low-level Linux networking and distributed systems is preferred.
- Open-source contributions, relevant certifications, and large-scale environment experience are preferred.
- Familiarity with Java or other frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and patent creation is preferred.
