Base Salary
$100k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cryptographic and security libraries shared across 1Password applications.
- Implement cryptographic algorithms, industry specifications, and new security features in client applications.
- Conduct code and design reviews to promote cryptographic hygiene and secure development standards.
- Assist with security design and scoping for features involving cryptography.
- Assess and resolve security vulnerabilities across applications.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Product Engineering, and other technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
- 0–2+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with security development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Basic understanding of modern cryptographic algorithms, trade-offs, and implementation considerations.
- Experience implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Rust or Golang experience, or demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages, is preferred.
- Experience implementing industry standards into new libraries or codebases is preferred.
