Software Engineer in Machine Learning Infra, Recommendation Architecture (ByteDance Singapore)
ByteDanceResponsibilities
- Optimize machine learning model serving and training infrastructure.
- Build and maintain high-performance online services for recommendation systems.
- Build globalized, large-scale recommendation systems.
- Optimize system stability, availability, offline data flow performance, and infrastructure costs.
- Develop scalable storage and computing systems and data and service platforms.
- Research, design, develop, update, and enhance computer and network software.
- Develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Integrate hardware and software systems with computer hardware engineers and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- Experience building scalable systems.
- Experience with at least one or two programming languages in a Linux environment, such as C, C++, or Go.
- Understanding of GPU hardware architecture and GPU software stacks such as CUDA and cuDNN.
- Experience with GPU performance analysis.
- Experience debugging, tuning, and optimizing deep model inference and training.
- Familiarity with model optimization tools such as TVM, MLIR, and XLA.
- Familiarity with mainstream machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNet.
