Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Adyen’s distributed, high-performance platform.
- Own functionality end to end, from initial design through production launch.
- Identify and improve platform robustness, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate across teams and time zones, review code, and incorporate feedback.
- Support scalable and reliable core financial data processes and finance infrastructure.
- Write testable code and lead projects involving mission-critical payment systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java.
- Ability to take ownership, lead projects, and write testable code.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and detail-oriented working style.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
