Responsibilities
- Assess, design, build, optimize, and deploy machine learning, AI, and foundational models for real-world applications.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and models, develop prototypes, and run proof-of-concepts.
- Identify high-value AI use cases with business and technology teams and deliver solutions with measurable impact.
- Develop agentic AI workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
- Create and maintain AI system blueprints and integrate AI solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Optimize AI system performance and scalability while embedding compliance, observability, security, ethical, and regulatory considerations.
- Establish best practices, technical standards, and reusable patterns for AI development, deployment, monitoring, and continual improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-impact AI opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or related fields.
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- Experience taking AI proof-of-concepts from ideation through production.
- Strong knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing, LLM architectures, LLM fine-tuning, domain-specific model training, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with multimodal AI, AI governance, or MLOps is preferred.
- An advanced degree in AI, computer science, data science, or a related discipline is a bonus.
- Research, publications, patents, or open-source AI/ML contributions are preferred.
- Knowledge of payments, fintech, or financial services is a bonus.
